Summary
An experienced cross-media professional who can manage AND get his or her hands dirty (the architect and the carpenter).

Experience Profile
• 4+ years in online media planning, buying, and measuring campaigns
• Experience with branding and direct response campaigns with clear understanding of the differences
• Previous experience implementing brand studies with research partners such as Dynamic Logic, Factor TG, and Insight Express
• Knowledge of CPG / OTC industries preferred
• New York area. Our offices are at 163 West 23rd Street in Manhattan.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in ad management tools such as Atlas DMT and DoubleClick DART
• Familiar with media research – ComScore, MRI, TNS Evaliant, and the usual suspects
• Particular proficiency with comScore suite a big plus
• Excellent in-person client presentation skills
• Willingness to travel (primarily to major industry conferences) and client locations/offices (tri-state based)
• Enthusiasm for building a company and helping to take it to the next level

The ideal candidate for this position is a cross-media specialist with especially strong online skills, who can grow and thrive in a small independent company environment. We seek a collaborator who builds “the right” plan rather than planning to a budget. He or she must be prepared to put in the extra time that’s required to form strong relationships with clients, publishers and vendors, exceed expectations, and go the extra mile (water supplied for your journey). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.

Roles & Responsibilities
A. Productivity
The primary responsibility of the Media Supervisor is stewarding client accounts.
• Develop and oversee all assigned projects on assigned accounts
• Develop and maintain timetables for all assigned projects
• Direct and Train Planners and/or Asst. Planners
• Ensure accuracy in all work on assigned clients

B. Present recommendations and conclusions

C. Learning
• Demonstrated knowledge in all forms of media with which you have exposure
• Development of management skills

D. Responsibilities
• The media supervisor is responsible for maintaining regular client contact when and where necessary
• Participation in new business pitches is expected, when needed
• Responsible for maintaining working relationships with vendors
• Oversees the collection and interpretation of data for post-buy purposes
• Manages planners and assistant planners
