Matt brings decades of experience in project management, technical knowledge and creative development know-how to the Underscore team. He is responsible for developing internal processes and procedures for delivering work that is on time and on budget.

When he’s not at the office, Matt works as an instructor and practicing glassblower in New York City. Before Underscore, Matt has worked at Tribal DDB, Wunderman, and Euro RSCG. He attended Pratt Institute, studying Industrial Design and Art History and lives in Manhattan with his wife, Kristina.

What makes Underscore different?
This team of people. We work hard to deliver the best work possible for our clients, but we also spend a significant amount of time thinking about the agency, our processes and how and where to make improvements.

How do you describe your job?
I oversee all internal processes and procedures for client deliverables, including contracts, project estimating, financial reporting, and reconciliations. I also oversee our internal IT infrastructure and redundancy systems to ensure our files are secure and accessible whenever needed in the US and the EU.

What’s your favorite part of working at Underscore?
I get to support many different aspects of our business. I like the challenge and freedom it offers me to think strategically about how to improve a particular process or system that then allows the team to do their work better or easier.
