Since 2008, Chris has been the driving force behind our SEM practice, expanding it beyond paid search into Direct Response. Prior to Underscore, Chris spent several years as the Search Director and Strategist for Razorfish, where he managed 50+ brands and over $40MM in paid search budgets across many verticals including health and wellness, retail and eCommerce.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Scranton with a BS in Mass Communications and Media Studies. He lives in New Jersey with his wife.

How do you describe your job?
I intersect highly qualified hand raisers seeking relevant content, driving them to appropriate content within our owned properties. Then I evaluate and measure the engagement with the content to understand the intent of the audience we are reaching.

How do you describe what Underscore provides for their clients?
For us, media is more of an art, than just a science. We align media with all the different pieces to the marketing puzzle (Web site, creative, PR, etc.) and get it in front of the right eyeballs, to ensure its effectiveness.

What’s your favorite part of working at Underscore?
The flexibility to make changes. If something isn’t working or if you have a better idea on how to improve something, you can. In the 6 years I’ve been working here, I’ve been able to evolve my team offerings to adapt to the ever-changing pace of technology and the ever-changing needs of our clients.
